The Buick Encore GX originally hit the market in Miami in 2020 as the smallest vehicle in the lineup. Its stunning appeal has grown over the years with various updates from bumper to bumper. In 2024, the Buick Encore GX continues to evolve with brilliant enhancements to its style and features. In addition, its trim lineup has evolved and now includes the base Preferred followed by the Sport Touring and the Avenir.

The exterior design of the 2024 Encore GX has a contemporary, confident design with aggressive tapering over the roof that trends into a liftgate spoiler. The liftgate is prominently raked, while the tall nose has a sophisticated arch. The sides show off a combination of curved and linear design elements. The reshaped grille has sharp corners, and it is mounted below a new Tri-Shield logo. The dramatic LED headlights have a swooshing style, and the rectangular fog lights are mounted at the top of their triangular ports. The Sport Touring trim adds a glossy black grille and black aluminum wheels.

The two engines available for the 2024 Buick Encore GX are identical to those offered in the 2023 model year. The entry-level trim has a three-cylinder, 1.2-liter turbo engine with front wheel drive.
